Matthias Vriens-McGrath est un photographe néerlandais, né en 1965 à Amsterdam.
Connu pour ses photos de mode, il a été directeur de publication du magazine « Dutch » avant de devenir international creative director de Giorgio Armani. Installé à Los Angeles, gay et militant pour les droits de la communauté, il photographie aussi bien les modèles féminins que masculins avec une nette propantion à déshabiller davantage ces derniers… Son style travaillé à la lumière impeccable où la sexualité est toujours présente est facilement identifiable.
Matthias Vriens-McGrath is a Dutch photographer, been born in 1965 in Amsterdam.
Known for his fashion photos, he was guiding of publication of the magazine « Dutch » before becoming international creative director of Giorgio Armani. Installed in Los Angeles, gay and activist for the rights of the community, he photographs as well the models feminine as male with a clear propantion to undress more these last ones… His style worked on the impeccable light where the sexuality is always present is easily recognizable.
Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Elle, Interview, VMan… well Bruce Weber did it all when it comes to prestigious magazines.
This american photographer born in 1946 Greensburg, Pennsylvania, USA, became one of the most talented of his generation and is wanted all over the planets. From Brands (Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch, Pirelli, Versace, Calvin Klein…) to celebrities (Ashton Kutcher, Monica Bellucci, Colin Farell, Nicole Kidman, Stella McCartney, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen…) he kind of saw everything there was to see when it comes to photography and fashion/luxury photoshoot.
He even had the chance to takes pictures of one of the most iconic women of the fashion industry, Kate Moss, with very few clothes, not to say topless.
