1/ What’s your position about nudity?

Nudity for me it is a human and natural thing. We are all born naked so it is just natural and not a problem for me to pose naked in front of the camera because I growing up very open regarding nudity.

2/ Do you think it’s natural? For me it is definitely natural.

3/ Are you shy or modest?

To be naked or just wearing underwear in front of the camera it’s not a problem for me. So i can say I feel modest. But all the shoots I do naked are checked by my agency and are just with professional national and international photographers.

4/ Do you feel free when you are nude?

Yes…I always feel free when I am nude! It gives me a good and modest feeling.

5/ As a model, what do you feel when you do nude?

There must be a trust between me and the team I work for the shoot (photographer, assistant, make up, etc…).Then I feel comfortable and I can do a great job.

6/ How was your first nude shooting?

The first nude shooting I did was in New York. It was an interesting experience. But I felt good because I trusted the photographer and in the end we got a great result.

7/ For you what’s the difference between nude and exhibitionism?

Posing nude for a modelling has nothing to do with exhibitionism for me. Exhibitionism is a kind of sexual preference and posing in underwear or nude in front of the camera is a kind of art for me. So it is the hardest job in the modelling business because there is just you who can create an impression at the viewer. You cannot cover things with clothes or accessories. You just have to work with your body, face and especially with your eyes.

En tant que mannequin, comment abordes-tu le nu? As model, how do you approach the nude?

En temps que mannequin j’aborde le nu comme quelque chose de purement esthétique. La nudité est une chose très naturel pour moi. Je n’ai aucune gène. Se mettre nu devant un photographe pour poser pour une photo que des gens vont regarder c’est différent. Pour moi ce n’est pas de l’exhibition, c’est un travail. Un travail pour lequel j’ai quelques facilités. Dans mon métier, on cultive la beauté physique, pour ce plaire bien sur, mais quelque part pour plaire aux autres aussi. Faire des photos, c’est montrer et valoriser toutes ces heures d’entrainement. Et regarder le résultat, fait que c’est bon de ce sentir beau.

At time when model I approach the nude as something purely aesthetic. The nudity is a thing very natural for me. I have none gene. Strip naked in front of a photographer to pose for a photo at which people are going to look it is different. For me it is not the exhibition, it is a work. A work for which I have some opportunities. In my job, we cultivate the physical beauty, to please it well on, but somewhere to please the others also. To make photos, it is to show and to value all these hours of training. And look at the result, made that it’s good to feel beautiful

Et d’un point de vue personnel que représente le nu pour toi? And from a personal point of view which represents the nude for you?

Je suis de nature impudique. Être nu c’est quelque chose de normal. Bien sur, le regard des autres peut-être parfois gênant ou troublant… De plus, n’ayant pas de complexe physique, donc pour moi la nudité c’est quelque chose de vraiment naturel. Et puis c’est vrai que c’est plus facile de se déshabiller  quand on n’a aucun complexe.

I am of unchaste nature. To be naked it is something normal. Well on, the other people’s opinion maybe sometimes annoying or disturbing… Furthermore, having no complex physical appearance, thus for me the nudity it is something really natural. And then it is true that it is easier to undress when we have no complex.

Associes-tu le nu à la sexualité? Do you associate the nude with the sexuality?

Forcément quand tu penses au nu, tu penses à la sexualité. Après tout dépend du contexte, mais soyons clair, dans les films pour adultes, les acteurs et les actrices sont rarement très habillés! Pour moi le nu représente plutôt la sensualité Le nu c’est pour moi l’expression de la sensualité. Etre nu, c’est sexy et c’est valoriser un corps ou un vêtement et pour moi ça n’a pas de connotation purement sexuelle. Apres, avoir une personne sexy nue devant moi, ne va pas provoquer la même chose et c’est un rapport complètement différent. C’est donc bien une question de contexte et de situation.

Necessarily when you think of the nude, you think of the sexuality. After all depends on the context, but let us be clearly, in movies for adults, the actors and the actresses are rarely very dressed! For me the nude represents rather the sensualism The nude it is for me the expression of the sensualism. To be naked, it is sexy and it is to value a body or a garment and for me that has no purely sexual connotation. Bitter, to have a naked sexy person in front of me, is not going to cause the same thing and it is a completely different report. It is thus good a question of context and situation.

Tu es un sportif, es-tu à l’aise avec le fait d’être nu devant d’autres personnes, dans les vestiaires?          You are a sportsman, do you feel at ease with the fact of being naked in front of other persons, in changing rooms?

Je travaille dans le domaine sportif, plus précisément la musculation et le fitness, il y a un lien étroit avec le corps. Le fait d’être sportif fait que depuis très jeune, je suis amené a me changer dans des vestiaires communs donc avec d’autres sportifs, alors le regard des autres sur moi ne me fait pas peur.

I work in the sports domain, more exactly body-building and the fitness, there is a narrow link with the body. The fact of being sports makes that since very young, I am brought has to change me in changing rooms thus with other sportsmen, then the other people’s opinion on me does not frighten me.

Greg Gorman, photographer star

Greg Gorman (born 1949) is an American portrait photographer. He’s more known for his portraits of celebrities and Hollywood stars.

His work has been seen in national magazine features and covers, including Esquire, GQ, Interview, Life, Vogue, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Time, Vanity Fair, and the London Sunday Times. Although he studied photojournalism in college, his passion for rock-and-roll led him to his chosen field when he photographed Jimi Hendrix in 1968. John Waters once said, « Greg Gorman is the only person I’d let photograph my corpse ».

He’s very famous for his work in black-and-white, but use colors.

He has also directed music videos, television advertisements, and graphic design layouts for advertisers.

Nous sommes le 1er décembre et la température descend. Il est temps de faire un shopping mode pour affronter l’hiver, et Robin nous montre que porter des vêtements chauds peut vraiment faire remonter les températures! Bon week-end!

The Blake Men: Luis Kelling

Il était une fois un jeune mannequin Allemand qui m’envoya un email. Il me disait que ce serait un honneur de travailler pour Blake. Alors je l’ai fait venir à Paris et l’ai fait rentrer dans une agence. Trois plus tard, il défilait à Milan, puis New-York, Tokyo, Londres… Aujourd’hui il pose pour Mariano Vivenco et Bruce Weber, mais reste un ami très cher.

Once upon a time, a young German model send me an email. He said to me that it would be an honor to work for Blake. Then I made him come to Paris and returned him in an agency. Three later, he was on the catwalk in Milan, then New York, Tokyo, London… Today he poses for Mariano Vivenco and Bruce Weber, but stay a dearest friend.
